Durban Corbieres

Durban Corbieres is a pleasant village on the D611 road which twists and turns through some lovely scenery. There are the ruins of an old castle which overlook the village and the river Berre. For a small village the local services are very good, there is a reasonably sized supermarket and combined petrol station complete with a car jet wash. Durban Corbieres also has a car repair garage, plumbers, post office, Tabac, doctor's surgery, chemist, hairdressers and a small clothes shop. There is a tiny market stall which arrives a couple of times a week selling fruit and vegetable and a mobile charcuterie van. The bar restaurant in Durban Corbieres is quite large and the food and service are very good. There is a campsite here and Gites for rental.
